Trails End Restaurant at Fort Wilderness is now offering a pilot program at lunch, serving an a la carte menu instead of a buffet. Items include chili, fried chicken and waffles, sauteed catfish, grilled pork chop, spicy grilled shrimp and andouille sausage, as well as desserts such as wilderness s'mores and a warm sticky bun sundae. On August 30, 2010, Disney announced that they had added a new sound system to Space Mountain. In a general announcement they said it wasn’t added during the extensive rehab in order to bring the ride back on line as quickly as possible. They also said they did not retrofit the ride vehicles because they wanted the experience to be different than that of Disneyland’s Space Mountain.
