Demon drop was officially sent to Dorney Park where is is very much appreciated. I rode it for the first time on 09/02/10 and it was great.

I have no idea what the phrase was, but now it looks as though Knott’s isn’t getting it anymore and it seems to be heading to Dorney Park instead, which I think is a better idea than Knott’s.

Joel, i think you mixed up where it`s going and from where it`s coming. It`s leaving Cedar Point. (CA) and heading to Knott`s Berry Farms.

As someone who worked as an operator for this type of ride at Six Flags Great Adventure for 3 summers growing up, I am glad that it is at least moving to another park. These are classics and must be preserved. Last time I went to SFGA and realized it was gone, my heart sank a bit. I’ll just have to go CA and take a ride. Go with a classic theme.

The older I get, the more I gain an appreciation for older rides. I know how it feels to lose a ride some of these people probably spent a fair amount of time on as a kid. I think that the retro theme would be pretty cool for this ride. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with it.
